After the second edition of their applauded third Album "terz", mad x-ray will do on tour this fall to promote their newest Album, which will be released this October. Their tour will bring them beside Germany, to Austria and possibly Switzerland and Chzech Republic.
The first edition of the CD "terz" sold very fast not only because of the absolutely positive Press reactions. "terz" was released in November 2002 via noiseworks records/ Soulfood/Sony Distribution and drew the special musical way of mad x-ray without losing a wide audience. "terz" is Indiepophymn, Brachial noise, Hippie trips, Stonerpunk and Melancholy - a style of a movie of episodes. It's not an Album to listen to once and so are the concerts of this extraordinary band.
mad x-ray are Manuel H. Noll (drums), Mirco Schulze (guitar/vocals) and Mario Noll (bass guitar/vocals). They overcome with their music the contradictions between Motorpsycho and Masters of Reality. Their concerts are like a collection of small movies of psychedelic guitar and bass riffs, poppy melodies, noise, fragile melodies and driving rage.
Mit der zweiten Auflage ihres hochgelobten neuen und dritten Albums "terz" machen sich mad x-ray in diesem Herbst endlich wieder auf eine deutschlandweite Tournee sowie nach Österreich, vielleicht in die Schweiz und nach Tschechien.
Die erste Auflage des aktuellen Albums der drei Leipziger verkaufte sich nicht zuletzt aufgrund der durchweg positiven Pressereaktionen blitzschnell. "terz" erschien im November 2002 über noiseworks/ Vertrieb Soulfood/Sony in den Plattenläden und zeichnete den ganz eigenen musikalischen Weg von mad x-ray fort, ohne sich einem breiten Publikum zu entziehen. "terz" ist Indiepophymnen, Brachialnoise, Hippietrips, Stonerpunk und Melancholie - ein im Stile eines Episodenfilms wirkendes Album. Es ist kein Album zum einmaligen Anhören und so sind es nicht die Konzerte dieser außergewöhnlichen Band. Live etwas rockiger daherkommend beherrschen mad x-ray auch mit ihren neuen Songs die großen und kleinen Gefühlswelten wunderbarer Musik.
mad x-ray sind Manuel H. Noll (Schlagzeug), Mirco Schulze (Gitarre/Gesang) sowie Mario Noll (Bassgitarre/Gesang). Sie überwinden mit ihrer Musik die Widersprüche zwischen Motorpsycho und Masters of Reality. Ihre Konzerte sind wie eine Sammlung kleiner Filme aus trippigen Gitarren und Bassläufen, poppigen Melodien, Noise, verletzlichen Melodien und treibender Wut.
